Welcome to The Old Palace Resort
Our friendly family-run resort is located in the quiet northern part of Ayutthaya, near the rivers and canals of this picturesque ancient capital of the former Siam. Our spacious, wooden Thai-style chalets are set among beautiful garden surroundings, providing a relaxing and convenient base to set out and explore Ayutthaya’s many historical and breathtaking temples and palaces. Ayutthaya is one of Thailand’s most famous cities, having served as the capital of the former Siam for more than four centuries (1350-1767) under 33 successive Thai kings. We understand that our guests are on holiday/vacation, so we are happy to do whatever it takes to ensure that your stay with us is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. If you have any special requirements or preferences, please let us know and we’ll make every effort to fulfill your request. Relax at our private and quiet accommodation. We offer a variety of accommodation to suit all travelers’ needs and requirements. Our rooms are based on occupancy of one, two or three people. All of our spacious Thai-style rooms offer privacy and quiet, and are equipped with air conditioning, cable TV and en-suite bathroom with hot shower. Breakfast for each guest is also included in the quoted room price. We provide daily maid service for each room, with fresh linens and towels, as well as two complimentary bottles of water, provided for the comfort and convenience of our guests. We warmly welcome families with children to our safe and private resort.

How to reach us
Ayutthaya is located approximately 85 km. North of Bangkok. From Bangkok airport, you can reachAyutthaya in about 70 minutes by car or you can take the train from the airport railway station. Coming from Bangkok City Centre, you can can get onto a train at the Central Station. Many bus services run to Ayutthaya including several from Bangkok Northern bus station. Additional possibility is: many companies offer transport by minibus to Ayutthaya. A minibus leaves every 20 minutes from the Victory Monument in Bangkok. They operate from 06.00 a.m. to 08.00 p.m. The route ends at Chao Phrom Market Ayutthaya. From there you can take a Tuk-Tuk to The Old Palace Resort. We are located in the Northern part of Ayutthaya.
